Henry Ramirez’s La Esperanza farm is an 8-hectare organic coffee haven nestled in the mountainous region of Bilbao, Planadas, Tolima. As a third-generation coffee grower, Henry has dedicated his life to cultivating exceptional coffee while preserving the natural ecosystem that surrounds his farm. Henry converted his farm to be certified organic in 2015, eliminating chemicals to protect soil health, water sources, and local biodiversity.

This Washed Caturra microlot is a shining example of Henry’s meticulous craftsmanship. Grown at 1,850 masl, the cherries are selectively handpicked, fermented in-cherry for 12 hours in GrainPro bags, then depulped and fermented for an additional 24 hours before undergoing a precise double-washing process. The beans are then carefully dried over 15 days to ensure a clean and vibrant flavour profile.
