Gelatin is a high-quality protein derived from collagen, packed with amino acids that aid in the repair and rebuilding of body tissues, including those in the digestive system.
Gelatin is a natural form of collagen and contains a wealth of essential amino acids that are often missing from a typical Western diet, helping to support overall health.
How To Use
As a dietary supplement, simply add about 1 tablespoon (10g) of gelatin to your preferred liquid, whether hot or cold, such as tea, coffee, or juice. If desired, you can "bloom" the gelatin before mixing it into your drink.
To create set gelatin, start by blooming approximately 1⁄4 cup (40g) of gelatin in 1⁄2 cup of water (1:2 ratio) and stir until smooth.
Then, combine the bloomed gelatin with 250 mL of any hot liquid and your preferred flavouring.
Stir until fully dissolved, then pour into a mould and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
Tip: For a softer set, reduce the amount of gelatin used; for a firmer set, increase the amount.
