Absolute Essential Frankincense Essential Oil is a dense, spicy plant distillation that helps revitalise and tone the skin, and helps to alleviate stress.
About this oil
- Botanical name: Boswellia carterii, distilled from the resin
- Origin: Somalia
- Harvest: wild-grown and sustainably harvested
- Key components: alpha- and beta-Pinene, Limonene, Sabinene, beta-Myrcene
How to use
- Skin tonic: add 5 drops to 25g of moisturiser and apply nightly.
- Sleep and relaxation: add 5 drops to a diffuser in the bedroom.
- Stress relief: add 3–5 drops to a diffuser or bath (no longer than 15 minutes).
- Mature skin: stir 2–5 drops into 50g of face cream; add 3 drops of Sandalwood and 2 drops of Rose if you like.
- Sore back: rub 3–5 drops directly onto the area, or blend into 1 teaspoon of carrier oil and massage gently.
Safety
Frankincense is safe when used as directed. Avoid contact with the eyes and flush with water if contact occurs. If accidentally swallowed do not induce vomiting — follow with olive oil or milk and seek advice from a health professional. Keep out of reach of children. Therapeutic plant oils support natural body processes and are not a substitute for medical treatment.
