Lotus Organic Royal White Quinoa is grown at around 3,900 metres above sea level, which gives a larger, fluffier seed with a nutty flavour. It cooks up light and makes an easy swap for rice or couscous.
Good to know
As described by the manufacturer:
- 100% certified organic white quinoa
- Grown at high altitude for a larger, fluffier seed
- A source of plant protein and dietary fibre
- Works in salads, stir fries and in place of rice or couscous
How to use it
Rinse, then simmer one part quinoa to two parts water for about fifteen minutes, until the germ uncurls. Fluff with a fork.
