Spiral Foods Organic Unpasteurised Barley Miso is a traditional mugi miso made from whole soybeans and barley, aged for at least two years in cedar vats. It is left unpasteurised, so the live cultures are kept.

How to use it
Use in miso soups, broths, dressings and marinades, or stir 1 to 2 teaspoons into warm water for a simple miso broth. Do not boil. Add it after cooking to keep the live cultures. Refrigeration is recommended after opening.
